| Film Incentives Group, LLC is a film tax brokerage firm born out of MVM Associates and their reputation as being "Pennsylvania's #1 Tax Credit Broker" and a recognizable force in the PA Film Industry. The President of MVM, Michael McCann joined forces with David Bowers who had been the CFO at Banyan Productions (“Trading Spaces” , “A Wedding Story”, “A Baby Story” etc.) for the past 10 years in addition to heading up his own consulting firm David Bowers & Associates. Capitalizing on their over 25 years in the brokerage, film and television industries, Mike and Dave formed Film Incentives Group, LLC in 2009 and hired Meg McCullough to direct business development efforts.
Film Incentives Group is a strategic consulting and brokerage firm dedicated to enabling film and television production companies to take advantage of the transferable film state tax credits and state rebates available throughout the United States. We consult with production companies on which state(s) will offer them the best incentives. Then, should a client choose a state that offers a transferable tax credit; we have the experience and expertise to handle the entire application process. We run the show from start to finish, so that our clients get their cash quickly. Film Incentives Group offers the following brokerage services:
- Identifying qualified buyers for the credits and getting a top dollar sale price.
- Developing and executing a purchase agreement for the credits. - Escrowing all monies until transactions are complete. - Wiring purchase funds to our clients' banks.
